As an apprenticed ceramic and stove builder, Martin Rauch has built numerous tiled stoves since the 70s and developed differentiated new building techniques. Parallel to this he increasingly works on complete interior walls in earthen building methods. At the site of the House R. Martins team placed a central positioned wall done in rammed earth on a coarse concrete slab and subsequently imposed the complete house, done in prefabricated wood modules, over it. Variations of this building process have been repeated in several new buildings.
