Because of the far distance to the construction site and the short construction time, the company decided, for the first time, to pre-fabricate several of the rammed earth walls in the workshop. After the 300 km far transport, the 4t heavy pieces were mounted in a few hours. The house itself was planned in a wood-mounted building style with very open and strong verves, dissociating from any pattern. The earthen wall plays a key role in this arrangement. It mediates between the different directions and functions as a folding screen, but is also a fastened pivot point and background. The wall is a definite balance point in the house.
