24m² prefabricated rammed earth lining, assembled & installed from 20 individual elements

7 cm-thick integrated multifaith metal symbol

The chapel was created from a renovated and reused room that was created when these parts of the hospital were redesigned. The sacred space is an architectural work of art that will become a mainstay for many patients and their families.

The atmosphere of the space is defined by the juxtaposition of the prefabricated rammed earth wall with the ornate wooden structure on the other side. Linear, segmented natural lighting from above emphasizes both parts to fulfill the sacred expectation of the space.
