Following the renovation work at Atelier Gassner and the demolition of the first rammed earth stove, Ruth and Reinhard Gassner designed a new stove body: a light-colored monolith made of rammed earth with a clear, restrained design language. Despite its solid shell, the stove appears almost weightless – it floats on a thin iron plate just 5 cm above the floor. The finely balanced proportions and the calm, concrete-like surface give the object a quiet presence in the room.
