Lehmo

Lehmo

100% earth
The majority of the recipe mix for the Lehmo cladding consists of local clay base material, which is individually and qualitatively enhanced with high-quality clays, chamotte, broken bricks and plant fibers.
Shape
The layered erection of the stove body simultaneously weaves the ornamentation of its monolithic shape. The structure, earthy color and feel of the material are retained during the compacting and shaping process. The lively, earthy surfaces form an exciting contrast to the clear, linear shape.
Process
The hollow body is stamped in one piece - seamlessly and without reinforcement - in our workshop in Schlins; it is then fitted with the heating door, combustion chamber and flues in Ludesch. This means that the Lehmo can be quickly installed on site, connected and put into operation immediately.

Clay shell

With our Lehmo, an old tradition becomes a contemporary answer to the desire for security and warmth. In collaboration with Müller Ofenbau, we create monolithic storage stoves made of rammed earth that combine traditional material knowledge with modern technology. Whether as energy-saving additional heating or as whole-house heating with integrated hot water preparation – a Lehmo is ideal for passive and low-energy houses and provides sustainable, gentle warmth in any room situation.

Properties

Our prefabricated Lehmos are rammed out of clay in one piece, seamlessly and without reinforcement. Equipped with modern stove construction technology, they can be transported without any problems. The hollow body is fitted with a heating door, combustion chamber and flues in the Müller Ofenbau workshop. It can be installed, connected and test-fired in a short space of time.

The beauty of our Lehmos is reflected in the elegant, natural surface with its fine tamped layers. Colored interspersions can be incorporated as desired, so that each Lehmo becomes an artistic expression and gives every room an individual, unmistakable touch.
