Anna Heringer and Martin Rauch share a deep commitment to building with earth. Since 2016, they have run an official joint studio alongside their individual practices. What unites them is the ambition to restore the value of earth as a building material and to unlock its unique aesthetic potential. They believe the most compelling way to convey this is through built architecture.
In this spirit, they seek out “acupuncture projects” – not defined by scale, but by their capacity to spark positive change. For both, the architectural result is only part of the mission; equally important is a building process that involves many people and fosters genuine participation.
