The timber construction is complemented by generous rammed earth elements in various designs. With the exception of the clay floors, which were installed on site, all the elements were produced in our workshop in Schlins, Austria. They were then delivered to Kitzbühel, assembled on site and given a protective finish.

The warm yet solid appearance of the rammed earth meets the lightness of the wood and creates a clear, calm atmosphere. A load-bearing elevator shaft and a surrounding staircase made of rammed earth reinforce this effect. The project demonstrates the special quality of timber architecture in combination with rammed earth.
