The buildings are designed as a simple type, consisting mainly of wood. Wood thus takes on a monolithic load-bearing and insulating function, forming the room envelope and visible surface. The required storage mass comes into the house via the solid clay floor.
The foundations are laid using screw pile foundations. This makes it possible to build a house without cement and to completely dismantle it if necessary. The technical equipment is kept to a minimum in the form of underfloor heating integrated into the clay floor and a decentralized ventilation unit that disappears behind a panel in a wall niche. In their simplicity, the buildings allow a variety of usage scenarios thanks to their targeted interlocking. It is also possible to divide the space for parallel events.
